Terms of Service

Overview

Welcome to TAIA Jewellery.

The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to TAIA Jewellery. TAIA Jewellery operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”).

TAIA Jewellery is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced herein, describe your rights and responsibilities when you use our Services.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully. They contain important information about your legal rights and responsibilities, including warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

By visiting, accessing, interacting with, or purchasing through our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or our Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the Services.

Section 1 — Access and Account

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state, province, or jurisdiction of residence, or that you have given consent for any minor dependents under your responsibility to use the Services.

To use certain portions of the Services, including purchasing products, you may be asked to provide information such as your:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Billing information

  • Payment information

  • Shipping address

  • Contact information

You represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete and that you have the legal right to provide such information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of any account credentials associated with your use of the Services.

You are also responsible for activity conducted through your account.

You may not sell, transfer, assign, or license your account to another person without our authorization.

Section 2 — Our Products

We make reasonable efforts to display and describe our jewellery and other products as accurately as possible.

However, product colors, finishes, tones, proportions, and appearance may vary slightly depending on:

  • Screen settings

  • Device type

  • Lighting

  • Photography

  • Production batches

  • Natural variations in materials

Gold and silver tones may therefore appear slightly different in person than they do on your screen.

Product dimensions and measurements are provided as accurately as reasonably possible but may be subject to small manufacturing tolerances.

We do not guarantee that the appearance of a product will be identical to how it appears on your device.

Product descriptions, specifications, prices, availability, and other information may be updated or corrected at any time without prior notice.

We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

We may also limit the sale or quantity of products available to any person, household, geographic region, or jurisdiction.

Section 3 — Jewellery Characteristics and Care

TAIA Jewellery products are designed for everyday wear and certain products may be described as:

  • Waterproof

  • Non-tarnish

  • Hypoallergenic

These descriptions reflect the materials, finishes, testing, and intended characteristics of the applicable products.

However, jewellery longevity and appearance may vary depending on use, care, environment, skin chemistry, exposure to chemicals, and other factors.

Although our jewellery is designed to withstand everyday wear, customers should still take reasonable care of their pieces.

Damage resulting from:

  • Accidental impact

  • Scratching

  • Bending

  • Improper storage

  • Improper handling

  • Exposure to harsh chemicals

  • Misuse

  • Normal wear and tear

is not considered a manufacturing defect.

“Hypoallergenic” means that the product has been designed using materials generally considered suitable for sensitive skin. It does not guarantee that no individual will ever experience sensitivity or an allergic reaction.

Individual reactions may vary.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

Section 4 — Orders

When you place an order through our Services, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.

TAIA Jewellery reserves the right to accept, decline, limit, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary.

An order is not considered finally accepted until payment has been successfully processed and the order has been accepted for fulfillment.

We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons including:

  • Product unavailability

  • Incorrect product or pricing information

  • Suspected fraud

  • Payment authorization issues

  • Unusual order activity

  • Errors involving promotions or discounts

  • Orders that violate these Terms

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue an appropriate refund for the canceled amount.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it.

If you need to request a cancellation or modification, contact us as soon as possible at:

contact@taiajewellery.com

We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed once fulfillment has begun.

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Eligible returns are governed by our Refund Policy.

You represent that purchases made through our Services are for personal or household use unless otherwise agreed by TAIA Jewellery.

Section 5 — Promotions, Discounts and Buy 2 Get 2

TAIA Jewellery may offer promotions, discounts, gifts with purchase, bundle offers, limited-time offers, or other promotional campaigns.

Promotional terms may vary and may be subject to separate eligibility requirements.

Our Buy 2 Get 2 Free promotion may require qualifying products to be added to the cart in accordance with the promotional instructions displayed on the website.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Complimentary products have no separate cash refund value.

  • Promotional discounts cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • Promotions cannot necessarily be combined with other offers.

  • Promotions may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time, subject to applicable law.

  • Promotional availability may be limited by inventory.

If an order placed under Buy 2 Get 2 Free or another multi-item promotion is partially returned, the promotional conditions must remain satisfied by the products kept.

If a return causes the remaining order to no longer qualify for the promotion, the value of the promotional discount or complimentary items may be deducted from the refund.

If the entire promotional order is returned, all qualifying purchased and complimentary items must be returned in eligible condition.

Additional terms may be displayed at checkout or on the applicable promotional page.

Section 6 — Prices and Billing

Prices, promotions, discounts, and offers are subject to change without notice.

The price charged for a product will generally be the price displayed at the time your order is placed, subject to correction of obvious errors.

Any applicable taxes or other charges will be displayed at checkout where required.

TAIA Jewellery currently offers free standard shipping where indicated in our Shipping Policy.

International purchases may still be subject to:

  • Customs duties

  • Import taxes

  • Tariffs

  • Government fees

  • Brokerage fees

  • Other destination-country charges

unless otherwise stated at checkout.

You agree to provide complete and accurate billing and payment information.

You represent and warrant that:

  1. The payment information you provide is valid and accurate.

  2. You are authorized to use the payment method provided.

  3. Charges submitted by TAIA Jewellery will be honored by your payment provider.

  4. You are responsible for applicable charges associated with your purchase.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.

If an obvious pricing or promotional error affects an order, we may cancel the affected order and issue an appropriate refund.

Orders are generally processed within 1–5 business days.

During high-volume periods, including:

  • Holidays

  • Major promotional events

  • Product launches

  • Seasonal sales

  • High-volume shopping periods

processing may take longer.

After shipment, standard delivery is generally estimated at:

5–21 business days

Delivery estimates are not guarantees.

Actual delivery times may vary due to:

  • Shipping carrier delays

  • Customs processing

  • Weather

  • Transportation disruptions

  • Postal disruptions

  • High-volume seasons

  • Government restrictions

  • Incorrect addresses

  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

Tracking information may be provided after shipment.

Tracking information is supplied by third-party carriers and may occasionally be delayed, limited, or updated in batches.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Please review our Shipping Policy for complete information regarding shipping, tracking, delays, returned parcels, lost shipments, and orders marked as delivered.

Section 8 — Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, refunds, and damaged-item claims are governed by our Refund Policy.

Unless an exception applies, eligible return requests must generally be made within 30 days of delivery.

Returned products must meet the eligibility requirements described in our Refund Policy.

Certain items may not be returnable, including:

  • Earrings for hygiene and safety reasons

  • Gift cards

  • Final Sale products

  • Complimentary promotional items for cash value

  • Products specifically identified as non-returnable

Customers are generally responsible for return shipping costs unless the product received was defective, damaged, or incorrect, or otherwise required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shopify is not responsible for claims relating specifically to products sold by TAIA Jewellery or transactions between you and TAIA Jewellery.

Your use of Shopify-powered functionality may also involve Shopify processing certain information in accordance with its applicable privacy practices.
